Giving and Reading With the Coming of Spring

This month, FaithfulReader.com is full of new and inspirational features. We are bringing you Faithful Fifteen interviews with Steven James, author of STORY: RECAPTURE THE MYSTERY, and Sarah Zacharias Davis, author of CONFESSIONS FROM AN HONEST WIFE: On the Mess, Mystery & Miracle of Marriage. Please note that we have updated our Faithful Fifteen questions. They are now broken down into three categories --- Writing, Spirituality and Life --- and allow for authors to reveal even more about their faith and their writing.

As we prepare for the celebration of Easter, we have compiled a list of Easter-themed books. We trust that this roundup will give you some new titles to enjoy during this solemn yet joyful time of year.

Many of you have written asking us to prepare materials that you can use to share information about FaithfulReader.com with your pastor and others at your Church, as well as with other Christian literature-loving friends. We have created a flyer here as well as a PDF that can be downloaded and printed here. We hope you can share these for us so our FaithfulReader.com community can grow.

Our poll and question ask about the books you read. How many of the books you read are Christian titles and which Christian and non-Christian authors you enjoy? We look forward to hearing your responses.

The days are finally beginning to get warmer in New York and perhaps, finally, spring may be coming to more than just the calendar. We at FaithfulReader.com are looking forward to reading in the sun once again.

I hope you have an inspirational Easter Season and a lovely Easter Sunday celebration. Happy Easter from all of us at FaithfulReader.com.

Steven James Answers the Faithful Fifteen

In STORY: RECAPTURE THE MYSTERY, author, poet and speaker Steven James invites readers to relive the entire Christian story, focusing more on its imagery and poetry rather than its history and law. In this interview James explains his wish to retell stories from the Bible without being preachy, insulting, or too filled with "church talk." He also discusses his path to finding faith and the trust he places in the mystery of God, and shares a humorous anecdote about signing autographs for his readers.
