Ron DiCanni

Ron DiCanni has been a professional illustrator for the past twenty-five years. Schooled at the American Academy of Art, he has since been commissioned by some of the world's largest and best known companies, including ABC, NBC, McDonald's, The Smithsonian, Ford Motor Company, and the United States Olympic Committee.

About ten years ago, Ron felt the call of the Lord to reclaim the use of visual art which, at the time, was relatively nonexistent in the church. He sought to answer Christ's command in Mark 16:15, "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to all Creation."

Ron's passion is to use the arts as a means to communicate to today's sight-and-sound generation. He founded the MasterPeace Collection with DaySpring ten years ago. Today, by the grace of God, he is expanding on that mission with his publisher, Art2See.

Along with the fine arts, Ron has worked diligently in the book publishing arena. He has illustrated such well known books as THIS PRESENT DARKNESS, PIERCING THE DARKNESS, and ANGELWALK, among others. The artist is the originator of the best-selling Tell Me series featuring partnerships with Max Lucado, Joni Erickson Tada and Michael Card.

Ron has several books published with Tyndale House: BEYOND WORDS, THE TRAVELS OF MESSENGER, and, most recently, THE HEART OF A SERVANT, THE HEART OF A MOTHER, and THE HEART OF A FATHER. A BRUSH WITH GOD'S WORD, a follow up biography to BEYOND WORDS, also published by Tyndale, is due to release in the fall of 2002. Other new books include his latest Evangelistic book, THE INVITATION with Broadman & Holman and I'LL WAIT RIGHT HERE published by Harvest House.

Ron is a native of Chicago and lives in California with his wife, Pat, and his two best works of art, their sons, Grant and Warren.
